              • Krk - There are over 300 kilometers of marked hiking trails on Krk, which differ greatly from
each other; from the so-called “Lungomare” trails that follow the coast of the island, intended
for easy, relaxing walks, to more demanding trails suitable for hikers leading into the interior
              of the island.
              Here are some:
Following the trail of the golden drops and of the treasure of Krk (City of Krk) - two easy trails
9.5 km and 12.5 km long. They run through olive groves around the villages of Kornić and Vrh
and their aim is to present to the hikers the production of olive oil on the island of Krk.
Educational trail Baška - Zarok - Batomalj - Pod Lipicu - easy trail 6 km long
Pilgrimage route - Vrbnik - Pod Čerenec - Pod Mali Hlam - Žanac - medium demanding trail
              8 km long.
The Routes of the Frankopans Vrbnik - Kostrij - Melska Bay - sv. Marek Bay - Supovica Bay
              - Risika - Gradec (fort) - Stoza - Rovoznik - Vrbničko polje - Lug - Pod Čerenec - Vrbnik -
medium demanding trail 20 km long. Walking along the path, you get to know the medieval
history of the island of Krk. The fortress of Gradec, the ruins of the castle of the Frankopans,
the Counts of Krk is particularly interesting.
Malinska circular trek trail - 21 km long trail. The final part of the trail is a very attractive,
              relaxing walk along the coast.
              Putevima Dobrinjštine (Dobrinj)
Vrbnik Mountain Beltway- a demanding trail 25 km long
Along the Vrbnik Farmer’s Road - Trail length is 22 km Moderately demanding.
Path to the Moon (Baška) - shorter route 4.5 km; longer route 7.5 km. This trail has a beautiful
vantage point near the church of St. John the Baptist over the Baška valley, one of the most
famous sights of Baška. The longest part of the promenade passes through a woodland area,
and at its end there is a karst and rocky, completely bare plateau called the “Moon Plateau”,
which resembles a rocky desert and sits at 370 meters above sea level above Baška. If you
decide to choose the longer route, you will proceed towards Hlam, a peak that is located at 461
meters above sea level and offers an even better view of both the mainland and the islands.
There is also a cycle track along the entire trail.
Baška’s Glagolitic Alphabet Trail - this educational trail contains 35 stone sculptures with
carved Glagolitic letters that are dispersed around the Baška valley as monuments to the
Glagolitic alphabet and the Old Croatian language. We recommend that you get your copy of
Baška’s Glagolitic Alphabet Trail guide in the tourist board of Baška.
